Pros

Support from same level staff

Cons

APD director is not supportive of the front line staff Claims managers and colleagues leaving with hardly any notice because they can’t deal with upper management any longer Unrealistic demands and workload on extremely dated processes and systems and it’s 2026. Promised access to collision reports - still waiting on that promise going on 2+ years now Director instills fear and discourages anyone to speak up or speak out. Very fake encouraging us to think outside the box when other departments are watching but will turn around, deny you from proposing any suggestion further and scold you. I really don’t know what else to say. I’ve seen so many good people leave here because they couldn’t take it anymore. They thought they could make a difference but have run into a brick wall that is upper management overseeing the PD department. And don’t get me started how one recently hired-now resigned manager made sexist remarks. The female staff were very upset with the remarks. And our director, who would think would understand and support us being a woman herself, scolded the staff, and other managers for not silencing the noise. If they want to start to earn the trust of the staff , which is at an all time low (and reaches new lows each day) they would start by revamping uppermanagement. Staff are frightened to speak up and say anything. So much has gone on that gets swept under the rug. Thus the mass people leaving one form or another à la Other opportunities or STD. The staff can’t take this leadership anymore. Bullying and unsupportive. Buying myself time for another opportunity to come along or you may find me throwing my hate into the STD ring. The stress and anxiety this place has given me is unlike anything I’ve experienced before People dropping like flies here - either leaving to other companies or STD due to workload
