      Appalling treatment of staff

      The director of studies was nice and friendly

      Cons

      Upper Management are married to each other (literally) and abuse the system for their own gain. Allowed teachers to live in filth and took rental out of their own salary so effectively being paid lower than the minimum wage. Made very little money, and they lied about your salary. Ridiculous regulation in classes completing paperwork for no reason apart from fear, and unruly students from Saudi Arabia that got on the course without paying. Our teacher’s room was robbed as well.

      No need to have a DBS check to start work

      Cons

      I worked here during the summer but would not return. The company does not take pride in its work and treats the job as more of a casual activity rather than a professional role. The activities provided for overseas summer camp participants are low-budget and not well-organized. If you are looking for structured work with clear expectations and a professional environment, this may not be the best choice.

      Excellent Summer School

      Pros

      Good Residential Options, Healthy Work/Life Balance, Great Atmosphere and Co-Workers. Embassy took a chance on me and I will always be grateful. Returning staff are treated very well.

      Cons

      Turnover of Staff, One group of students was accepted back because of their money but they really shouldn't be allowed back due to their consistently terrible behaviour from the top down.
