      Pros

      - Great product - Superb leadership - Business strives for entire company to truly understand finance, which means great enablement in treasury/payments/corporate finance

      Cons

      - The business is right at the start of its journey in the UK so there is risk associated with the role, however, the early signs are great - Given the UK is still in its infancy, the working hours are slightly more demanding than you might find in a more established business

      Toxic Overwork

      Pros

      I am sure they have some, but I was not able to see them

      Cons

      They glorify overwork and expect it as the norm, plus will look down on you if you don't. I did see them hire people with an abnormal trial period just to fire them before it completes several times. Also seen them fire people because they were not willing to work overtime and/or during weekends or days off. As a less important thing salaries are also below average.

      Hello, Thanks for your feedack. We understand that things may not go as one would expect in their career and we understand how frustrated you may feel. Whilst we have a fast-paced and ambitious environment, we make sure to provide constant feedback during the probation period and we make sure that it is a 360 degree feedback from all the stakeholders involved with a specific employee. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to take tough decisions when we see there is no fit in terms of skills and/or company culture. 84% of employees have passed their probation period in 2023 and we put all our means for every employee to be their best at work.       Pros

      Great, helpful and ambitious team that goes that extra mile for you. Approachable and knowledgeable founders. Warm and inclusive company culture. High potential of growth and an opportunity to have an impact.

      Cons

      Not necessarily a disadvantage for everyone but Embat is still a start up and if you're looking for highly defined processes and a 9 to 5 job every day Embat isn't for you.
