Pros
The team you will work with includes many very nice people who are happy to help and great people. The Management Team and Supervisors are very nice people as well but the job is on the decline compared to 2-3 years ago.
Cons
The Compensation Report in 2012-2013 included very lucrative incentives that were obtainable for a number of Insurance Agents. However, the comp Report has been changed too many times to count over the last 2 years and in one instance the report was changed in the final 2 weeks of a quarter because it was too favorable for the agents expecting that they would cash in. Upper Management is not in touch with the day to day operations and the product is beginning to suffer. They are rated as the #1 DE Employer but that fact is astounding to many of us and probably because they have avoided direct lay offs to the staff while they slowly nip away at back end incentives. The turn over rate has been very high and the day to day complaints are so abundant that you can't say Hi to anyone without an eye roll and hearing about their negative experience in AAA Insurance Sales. You will see AAA Insurance Jobs all over the web but DO NOT post, you will be glad you didn't! If you don't sell 24 policies then you are out of a job, but that # is only 5 policies away from hitting the average bonus, it has increased too many times to mention. AAA was a great job and Ins Agency for many years, since they got in bed with CSAA they have gone down down down at an alarming rate.
