Pros

Exposure to Big Clients - Work on large-scale projects for Fortune 500 companies, gaining early insight into enterprise-grade systems. Structured Training Programs - Access to formal training resources, certifications, and learning paths through Accenture’s learning portals. Global Brand on CV - Having Accenture on your resume boosts credibility, especially early in your career. Diverse Tech Stack - Opportunity to explore a wide range of technologies across different projects and industries. Networking Opportunities - Work with teams around the globe and build a professional network within the tech consulting world.

Cons

Heavy Workload - Long hours are common, especially when meeting client deadlines; often results in burnout among junior staff. Below-Average Salary - Entry-level pay is often significantly lower than tech industry standards, especially in high-cost areas. Limited Technical Depth - Projects can be focused more on delivery than on innovation, which may limit deep technical growth early on. Bureaucracy & Slow Advancement - Promotion and role changes can be slow, tied more to tenure and performance reviews than merit alone. High Attrition Rate - Many junior developers leave within 1–2 years due to workload, compensation, or pursuit of better technical roles. Inconsistent Project Quality - Experience varies wildly depending on project assignment—some are technically enriching, others are pure maintenance.

Pros

Great way to get experience working with social media companies, learned a lot about politics, news, advertising, social media company, marketing, job postings and tech sales. In the project I was part of I learned a lot about the world. Most of my bosses were genuinely amazing but I did cycle through a good few. You learn a lot about working with fortune 100 clients. The consultants are nice to work with. You get experience training people, working with a wide variety of teams. Pretty good pay for my experience at the time, the hiring team is very nice and the hiring process was easy. Also I was given a therapist due to the nature of the work. Also got an hour of paid wellness, which was nice but I think that just extended the workday by one hour for no real reason. It does feel like important and purposeful work.

Cons

The project I was assigned to was not as traumatic as some other ones thankfully. But you see a lot of things, you see how crazy the world and the internet can be, which in these times can be hard to watch. I didn't get an annual raise.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
