Pros
- Awesome place to learn how to be a great recruiter - Focus on candidates and quality that you don't always find at other recruiting firms - Great training for both recruiters and account managers - Clear career path I feel that the training, sense of urgency, and candidate/client focus I learned at Aerotek helped me to be successful in my next recruiting role (at Google).
Cons
- They haven't kept up with the perks of surrounding companies. Why work a strict 7:30am-5:30pm when you can work at a tech company as a recruiter and pretty much make your own hours. - No food/transportation or other perks. Health benefits weren't great. - All senior leadership also started there as a college new grad so there's very little diversity of ideas or experience. This was a big reason I decided to leave. - At the time the company was definitely a boy's club with very few women in leadership (many times because there wasn't any flexibility in hours that women often need to consider a career in leadership)
