Aerotek gives a good foundation for recruiting. It teaches you how to own your business and every step of the recruitment process from beginning to end. Because of this, employers like to see people come from big companies like Aerotek. If you have the choice, I would choose another staffing firm.
Cons
I can’t say enough. The way Aerotek is run is no way to run a company. The main focus is making money for the company. You work long hours like most people have said, but are pressured to endure social events and happy hours on top of these work days almost every week. You are peer pressured and treated like an outsider if you don’t partake. Management is sneaky and unethical. My office was an HR nightmare and turnover was well over 75%. Aerotek teaches you how to have a “thick skin,” but I would recommend doing yourself a favor, and looking elsewhere for employment. A year of my life I wish I could take back.
