Having worked at Apple for several years, I can confidently say that the company no longer lives up to its reputation of being a great place to work. Once known for innovation and caring about its employees, Apple now seems to be more focused on protecting its image rather than fostering a positive, supportive work environment. Management consistently leans on Apple’s long-standing reputation as an excellent employer, all while systematically finding new and different ways to silence those who try to bring back the values the company was once known for. Employees who speak up about issues, propose improvements, or question decisions are often met with retaliation, including being held back from opportunities for advancement. There’s a clear effort to suppress any genuine conversation about culture and improvement. The vibrant, employee-focused atmosphere that Apple once cultivated feels like a distant memory. In recent years, it’s become clear that the company is more interested in maintaining control and minimizing dissent than empowering its employees. Apple’s success may still be undeniable on the outside, but internally, many are struggling to reconcile what the company has become. The disconnect between Apple’s public persona and the internal experience is growing, and it’s disheartening for those of us who believed in the values Apple once championed. Working here has become more about navigating bureaucracy and avoiding the pitfalls of speaking up, rather than contributing to meaningful work in a positive environment.

ZERO ZERO ZERO work/life balance. Execs have been saying for YEARS that they understand and will make it better. But in actuality, it gets worse every year! It is obviously top management LIP SERVICE because if they meant it, they could fix it tomorrow. They have hundreds of BILLIONS in the bank. If they REALLY cared about employee work/life balance, they could bring aboard the right number of folks to make that issue dissolve. Sick of hearing the lies. Just don't lie about wanting to fix it, when they clearly DON'T care
