Stock availability can make the job of a kitchen and bathroom designer very difficult. During the consultation and design process, designers will create a CAD of the client's desired space, to then discover that many chosen items are either out of stock, discontinued, or have long lead times, some of which are integral to the progession/completion of the project. This can lead to desperate situations finding alternative products interally or referring them to an alternative retailer to avoid delay to customers and losing sales. Progression is not great unless retail management is your career path.
