Pros
Some nice colleagues, good perks
Cons
A terrible culture, don't listen to concerns of their employees. In the team I worked with, there has been a high turnover of staff, all due to the same reason (the line manager). The firm don't seem to care to look at the pattern of leavers, and would prefer to protect their own. It is very cliquey, and if your personality doesn't suit, you won't last unfortunately. I'm surprised Baringa consistently ranks as a Top Place to Work, but they aggressively push for employees to complete surveys to keep their high position. All looks sleek and polished on the outside, but was informed in my first week they wouldn't be holding any international trips and parties that they highlight massively in their recruitment (trips to Disneyland, across Europe etc.) as they can't afford it.
