Pros

Good on the CV, Aladdin is good system to learn

Cons

Going down hill fast, lots of senior people are leaving and in the past year people I have known to work at Blackrock for over 5 years have left due to the way they are treated. Big disconnect between the workers and senior management of the same departments. No real perks like other companies offer. The flexible time off is a bit of a con its all down to your manager how much you get to take and my manager only let us have the standard 25 days off. Wouldn't recomend better places and people elsewhere plus the compensation doesnt reflect the status of BlackRock you will be well underpaid and bonuses have been stale for past 3 years

decent pay and good name drop to add to your experience and resume

everything!! since this was a contract role I was brought in to complete a project with 0 leadership or direction. I was left to figure out everything completely on my own from finding a computer and a desk and a phone to figuring out who to contact in India etc to help me revamp the entire global website on the backend. I literally had to show up to work everyday at least an hour early so that I could possibly try to find a open desk sometimes I had to work on the floor or find somewhere in the lunchroom I could set up in the corner this went on for over a month.
