mixed, at best - Director BlackRock Employee Review

the environment seems to create weak managers, the MD ranks are pretty poor managers, no connection to staff, and pretty out of touch. Not sure if it's because of the demands on them, or if BLK just hires/promotes people for the wrong reasons. I have found the deterioration of the work environment troubling - I once planned to spend my whole career with BlackRock and now i can't wait to get out of there.
