With respect to your other comments, giving employees the opportunity to build their careers at CME Group for the long term is very important to us, and we have some strong results to show for it. In 2017, 14% of employees were promoted company-wide and 30% of open positions were filled through internal recruitment – at or above the industry average for both measures. Of those promoted, 84% were individual contributors (employees without people management responsibilities).
