Pros
Really engaging work, incredible minds, 98% awesome people. A Senior Management Team, that individually, are some of the most incredible human beings I've met. A lot of "lateral" potential all over the world (maybe drying up), and many who leave, eventually come back.
Cons
Cargill's pursuit of an ERP implementation and the external partner chosen to manage the project, has left a wide swathe of carnage after just two waves. Most alarmingly is how the partner's culture infected Cargill's. If you believe that a corporate culture can be a real, measurable, "feelable" thing, then you can understand what I mean by "infected." Really, really smart people are running around like headless chickens, because of "deadlines and statuses." People are leaving angry in droves. And, they have a REALLY hard time getting pay to the 25% percentile.
