Pros

Dell for me has been a good company to work with, great learning experiences, great people to work with, they normally share their knowledge at least in the Infrastructure tower, when there is a big problem every tries to fix it instead of complaining about each other. Fast paced environment and a decent salary plus compensations, good work/life balance, and the option to work from home some days at week is great.

Cons

Upper management is somehow disconnected with the employees, I've never in my life talked with someone higher than my manager, so far my managers have been attentive and listen to our problems, concerns or suggestions, the problem is sometimes it takes so much time for any action to happen to address the problems. Reorganization gets crazy sometimes, and you sometimes don't know what will happen. Compensation could be better, Dell needs to look at other companies what they are doing to retain the best employees, sometimes it feels no matter how hard you work, you will not get rated as you'd like. Career opportunities is scarce, you can move easily if you are in the same country, but if you want to apply to work at other Dell locations in the world, it is almost impossible, the fact that Dell is a global company should give their employees good opportunities to work abroad

Pros

Very helpful and knowledgeable community, incredibly easy to talk to anyone in any part of the business. Gave me a wide range of experiences/projects.

Cons

Limited intern bonding opportunities when compared to Round Rock office.

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
