Pros
* Lots of personal development opportunities as long as you don't expect them to turn up automatically, you have to actively seek them out and leverage your network. * Great work-life balance; Strong focus on Employee Engagement and Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion. * Lovely and supportive colleagues in an international working environment. * Chance to work on exciting new technologies as the company is going through a Digital Transformation * Easy commute; Station Sloterdijk and busses around the corner of the office. * Chance to see other parts of the world, as quite a few jobs require travel at some point (post corona ;-))
Cons
* Difficult to negotiate any significant salary increase beyond the yearly default step; once you've been slotted into a scale (very intransparant process and different per team and manager, it seems) it can be very hard to ever move up a scale. * Decision processes move ever so slowly (big corporate). * Legacy organisational structures hamper efficient project management. * Increasing pressure on existing resources to manage daily work AND strategic alignment activities.
