I have been working at Equal Experts full-time (More than a year)

Pros

- flat hierarchy: EE is run by a very limited, lightweight management
- no bench: if you walk in the office you may find some people busy on proposals, operations and finance but everybody is allocated
- good salary: the associate/partners structure allows the employee to get a really good deal
- real experts: you will work with some of the best IT geeks in London
- common mindset: despite its growth (4000% in 5 years) Equal Experts maintained a very common mindset, thanks to the strict recruitment policies and the referral scheme (we are all friend of a friend or worked with a FoF in the past)

Cons

Clients might be hard, Equal Experts is an Emergency & Accident department, nobody calls Equal Experts because things are going well there, there's always a tough problem to solve. But then again, where is the fun otherwise?

I have been working at Equal Experts as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people who join EE are very experienced and excellent at what they do. It's enjoyable working as part of a team of great people.

Being an associate at EE feels like a mid-ground between being a contractor and a permanent employee. You get the flexibility and compensation of contracting, plus the feeling of a community and a supportive team of people.

If you recommend someone who joins the EE network there's a referral bonus.

    Cons

As is usually the way with consulting, sometimes it's frustrating when a client can't start a project quickly, or make the decisions needed for the team to progress. Usually this gets handled reasonably well by the engagement manager, though.

I have been working at Equal Experts as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Equal Experts gives the freedom of being a freelance contractor along with a strong support from other Equal Experts colleagues who share similar values. Lots of seminars and conferences to share and the thirsty Thursdays. Super agile company.

    Cons

Tough to find people of this calibre due to its strong track record. Always short on strong techy people.
