Pros
If you’re having trouble getting an entry level job elsewhere this could be an option for you. Some good clients. Many of the internal staff are young and friendly so the initial momentum for finding a role can be good if you have a good recruiter and account manager. Benefits are ok. Diverse pool of consultants in theory, but that’s only because the company is exploiting diverse populations for profit.
Cons
Leadership lacks diversity, and the diverse leadership that exists is largely tokenism—not actually good managers. FDM managers and execs have all been at the company a long time and stay because they have better comp and benefits than 95% of the employees. As such most people managers aren’t that competent or nice and don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. Execs jet around the world to feel important but are not respected. Notoriously arrogant CEO. Corporate culture of blame rather than taking ownership. Most of the company doesn’t seem to be on the same page. Next to no roles available in the US, but they keep hiring. Nepotism that starts at the top. Unprofessional corporate culture of workplace relationships that starts at the very top.
