Pros
If you’re lucky, your reporting to can be nice, if you’re not lucky, then good luck. Diversity is good, L&D is ok
Cons
- Constant redundancies (whole departments in some cases) and still expect the same quality of service, despite working on a clunky system on old laptops with less heads - Outsourcing job tasks to India on a weekly basis, even customer facing roles - Good luck if you have an IT problem, that’s been outsourced too - Communications from the CEO Tom Way are cult like - Culture has dropped dramatically since Tom Way joined due to the very harsh and quick cost savings techniques - along with a smug sense of entitlement - Flexible working is being cut massively, likely have to be in the office full time soon - Morale is absolutely terrible, for example nobody wants to talk for two minutes at your desk in fear of being told off for being too loud by management - Speaking of, WAY too much management, nobody can make a decision - Staff are too scared to voice their opinion in fear of being in the firing line for redundancies. Even if they did, nothing would happen - All these cost cutting measures whilst the CEO refurbishes and expands his personal office to his ‘taste’ - They even stopped offering the flu jab to employees to save costs (under the guise of “low turnout”, which is false) - Management too busy on the phone all day to manage the department effectively, allowing the culture to spiral
