Pros
Hertz hiring process worked a little differently for this position as they added this new department. I have enjoyed the employees and the time they took to get everyone onboarded. They promote a collaborative work environment and their HR onboarding process, while it has a few things that could be streamlined, is very thorough and sets you up for general success when it comes for company expectations and rules; as long as you are willing to tap into your drive to work Pros: -Company Car -Team environment -Responsive CEO -Bonuses based on company/region performance -Lets you know your job is not only the description but to create goals to advance
Cons
I have not been there for a prolonged amount of time so take this with a grain of salt! Cons: - Feels like the company could spend more time on new hires to explain how their software's work and make sure they are able to use them to do their job. -Tech support is a little slow at responding to problems -A little more time with 1 on 1 training (take this with grain of salt because my position is brand new to company and it doesn't have a department that could've trained so we were trained by others doing the job and was only 4 days time which was not a lot of time considering the volume of information we needed to absorb) - Little to no negotiation on salary listed and no offer for relocation even if they are asking you to relocate (my biggest issue) - Salary for certain cities (identical job listed) not making sense (this is another big issue) Ex: Omaha, NB might pay 80k/year while Los Angeles, CA pays 70k/year which confuses me. I believe salaries should be based on cost of living in said city. But it seems like occasionally that is lost on these job listings.
