Pros

good campus, but you did not find any time to use it.

Cons

I am working with infosys for only 2 months, i resigned them on 18-Oct-2016 and as i am on probation my last date is 17-nov-2016, and i am working in a project, today 28-oct-2016 when i reached office, i got a mail that today is your last working day.Who do that this with their employees, no notice nothing Is there, when I talked to my HR she told me your manager (God In Infosys) has told that they did not need you so have to leave company today. No compensation will be given even I have to pay back around 5000 Rs. to the Infosys. Which company did that, not expected from the MNC like Infosys, even small companies gives at least a week notice. No doubt why Infosys have that much iteration rate and from morning I am struggling everywhere to get all the clearance because I need to do it today. No help from HR, nothing. So if you do not have any other offer than please do not leave your current company, they can fire you any time and no compensation will be given and yes I asked about the maximum hours and the replied was that 09:15 hours is minimum and no maximum hours policy it will depend on your manager, if you are less then 09:15 they will deduct your leaves and yes there is only 12 leaves. your manager can prepone or postpone your last date. and they did the same with many employees, i talked to 10 of them and all are saying they got it today. Its diwali time infosys, just grow up..

Pros

Legitimate source of gainful project-based tech employment. Handles the headaches of looking for tech work and verifying your talent & legitimacy as a professional in the field, which is especially valuable in the age of AI. Additionally, they offer internal training resources to help ensure your skills are up to date with the current tech landscape.

Cons

Pay can be significantly lower than might be expected for tech work at higher levels, as their business model is as a staffing company, garnishing part of the wage paid by project clients as part of your employment. It's definitely very livable payment in most places, but it doesn't approach senior or even mid-level pay offered by many other US-operating employers in the tech space. This company has also been operating on slow or outdated systems, which can be frustrating for the remote contact of many of its employees, but Infosys has been actively updating these systems over time. Additionally, work conditions will be set at the behest of clients. Infosys is your pipeline to client projects, not often the host of projects themselves, so working conditions & expectations can vary by client.
