Middle east unit has recently seem a tremendous turmoil. In the last 8 months more than 5 partners have left. New partners have joined from competitors but seem much less capable and junior. The revenues have increased but seem unsustainable as the key partners seem to continue leaving. The local situation seems to be a reflection of the global situation. Vision 2020 is based on increasing the number of partners on an absolute number basis rather than on the performing basis. The number of performing partners seems to be declining. The total revenue of the firm is driven by consumer, energy and perhaps telco industry. But realistically, the industry element of the firm is very weak - most of the revenues are in services such as Ops, Procurement and Organization. True strategy component is very low. 900M with more 400 partners is just not a viable position regardless of whether it is vision 2020 or 5050.
