Pros

- Opportunities to transfer across locations and business lines for those who take the initiative - Competitive remuneration with a relatively strong emphasis on fixed pay

Cons

- Different business lines (particularly legacy Executive Search vs. legacy Hay Group) still feel siloed - As the company continues to diversify and broaden its offering, it becomes more and more rigid and erodes some of its original value - Very reactive to economic downturns - shareholders´ interests always above employees´ - Like most large consulting firms can be quite political

Pros

I am a consultant through a firm acquired by Korn Ferry and have had a great experience with both the firm (Salo) and with Korn Ferry as a parent company. Great to have benefits and PTO as a consultant and great training and resources available - good communication as well!

Cons

Transitional period during acquisition had a few bumps but nothing major and all ironed out as more time has gone on.

Pros

Work from home gives flexibility, time off is good.

Cons

No raises ever, bonuses are not a motivator nor an indicator of the work you do. No one seems to know why you receive the bonus you do, it is just from a spreadsheet handed to your direct manager who apparently has no influence in the decision. Raises never happen and no one can answer if they are coming or not—you just never get one.
