Pros
My experience at Korn Ferry was great in the beginning, the environment felt professional, and I learned a lot during my first few years. But as time went on, opportunities for growth became very limited. Promotions were few and far between and many employees went several years without any salary increase, which was discouraging. Employee engagement activities existed, but they often felt exclusive to the small group who organized them rather than being inclusive for everyone. Communication was also an issue, some concerns would take a long time to be addressed, and messages were sometimes left unseen or unanswered. Before I left, there were some improvements in HR after changes in leadership, which was good to see. Overall, Korn Ferry was a good place to gain experience early on, but the lack of progression, recognition, and open communication made it difficult to stay motivated long-term. A few tweaks in management and stronger focus on employee growth could significantly improve the overall experience.
Cons
No regular salary increases, infrequent promotions, and limited opportunities for training or upskilling.
