• decent leadership •A lot of senior operators that are willing to train. •great opportunity to make a substantial income •is great if you’re young and eager to get after it, could put away a lot of money.

Cons

•do not expect to have a life or plan family events on your days off, because more times than not you will be forced to pick up OT (unless you have vacation) •on call structure is outrageous

Great experience and well known chemical manufacturing, minimal layoff since org continuously runs lean, in office environment with heavy commute for most

Cons

Lower pay offering versus their competitors in chemical commodities or O&G, long hours expected for salary employees, extremely lean organization
