      Pros

      The people truly care about doing the best for the business I have worked with lots of people and I can say with ease that the best have been at Marston's

      Cons

      Feels like the soul is being ripped out with some very interesting behaviours and quite frankly rudeness from the CEO. People do not seem to be the focus anymore, drive performance and forget the people along the way.

      Pros

      Relatively decent rate of pay Bonus scheme Flexible working

      Cons

      Terrible senior management who have no idea of what life is like working in their pubs. Line managers unsympathetic and have completely unrealistic expectations. Staff treated as just another number and are disposable. Unable to recruit for chef roles due to poor rate of pay. No work/life balance at all. Managers working 75+ hour weeks and this is an expectation! Regional managers out of touch with the business and behave terribly towards their managers, creating a culture of fear.
