Group Assessment, building a paper tower. Putting in order who works best in a group, wolf pack family etc. Then a one on one interview. I was there for four hours. They didn’t ask me anything about the Company. They use the Assessment to see how you work well in a team. Be warned there four hours without anything to eat.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Marston's (London, England) in Oct 2021
There were 2 stages of interview - an initial one with an area manager, and a final interview with both the area manager and head of operations. Neither were too formal, an business analysis had to be completed in advance of the final interview and both interviews were conducted very well. They were more of a discussion about the business and my experience and ideas than strict questions and answers, which provided a good opportunity for me to learn more about my potential managers and the brand as opposed to them just finding out more about me.
- What would I immediately do on my first day in the role?
