Pros

Most of the managers I had were absolutely amazing and the co-workers I had were great. The kitchen and everywhere else was absolutely clean.Like you could see your reflection. That's how clean we kept it. It was also black owned , which was great as well.

Cons

Some of the managers are rude and mean as hell. I was a new crew member at that time. Some of the people who work there were there for years so they had their own little clique and if you weren't a part of that , they called themselves shunning you and putting most of all the work on you and not everybody else , if they like them. Let's say the general manager was at most times the most useless person there and he was completely messy all the time , and you would have to clean up after him. Sometimes if you thought you know, you were good with them, they would end up talking about your terribly behind your back.I've seen it happen to so many people especially good people too , and it's horrible. And about like if you call out or something, they'll have a whole attitude with you.I remember when I scheduled like a month or two and a head of all the times I need off months and a head and he still scheduled me to work and then yelled at me when I didn't come in on the times I was supposed to be off like it was my fault. There's much more that I could write, but I won't. I will never go back to work there no matter what

Pros

Experience varies heavily depending on the owner/operator you work for. Free and discounted food. 2 weeks PTO. Vision, Dental and Health insurance. Offers rapid development opportunities.

Cons

Work-life balance is nonexistent. In fact, the director of operations has stated numerous times, “Work life balance is a myth”. The company states you are required to work 45 hrs/week minimum; Realistically, GM’s can expect to work 55-60 hours in store with constant calls and messages when home. The company does not count any work done outside of the restaurant toward your 45hr requirement. There is no training for this position as you are expected to figure it out on the job. They offer $2000 per month performance bonus but are always finding new ways to disqualify you and move the goalposts when you actually earn it.
