Pros

There was a few nice people

Cons

There is a lot of issues in this department. Many people have lost their mental health due to the job pressures and being treated like rubbish. There is no training or help provided in this role and that is perhaps why they've had around 6 intakes of Fund Accountants in the last 12 months and they're recruiting AGAIN! That says it all really. I would avoid Fund Services at all costs unless you want to be picked on by most people higher up than you. The managers are horrendous and have only been promoted to manager because they've been there the longest and everyone who has self respect leaves here quickly. You are not allowed to take any time off for the first 2 weeks of every month and the rest of the month is limited and sometimes your manager will just choose what days you're allowed off which is horrendous. You will get picked on and shouted at in front of everyone. There is a lot of back stabbing by managers as they're trying to get ahead in the rat race but they don't realise how hated they are by their teams. It is a truly torturous place to work. You will be working 12+ hours a day with no break whatsoever. Please do not put yourself through it.

Pros

Very good co-workers, Great technology stack. Lot of new technologies and integration with current work.

Cons

They dont even give you a MS cup. They ask you to buy it for 5$. So cheap! Management big on "Giving back", Immediate managers do not like it and are not supportive. Lay off employees twice a year to show profits. Only worried about shareholders and clients. Don't know the criteria for lay-off. So, you are always worried if it is your turn. They boast about mental health and wellness. No good, when they layoff employees like this. HR = Horrible Resources. When you are laid off, they shoo you away as if you are a fly. You feel miserable. They themselves say - "We are better than Facebook or Oracle. We dont fire you at 6 AM over email." Gosh! What a comparison!
