Pros
There are so many divisions and roles, in the corporate office, that career opportunities are numerous.
Cons
It was shocking how comfortable the company is being transparent about how little it actually cares about their employees. Most new benefits or improvements are done not with the employees in mind, but to either "save face" or remain relevant to competition. For example, there was a roll-out of new salary pay bands, Career Framework, and it is obvious that that it was not done to help employees but to give the company the appearance of having competitive salaries. Leaders were told that HR does not know how they are going to handle huge pay increases for future promotions to employees now at the bottom of their current pay band. In addition, the Open Door policy is a policy in name but not in practice. Many employees are fearful of going to HR with complaints because doing so will result in termination. These sort of things never get exposed because of the historic "promote from within" practice conditions employees to believe that they should be grateful that they have a job in the corporate office and never complain.
