Pros
Schedule flexibilty. All sales positions are commission based so your effort really has an impact on the amount you can make although it does take some time to develop product knowledge and build a customer base. The company does a decent job of giving you the tools to be successful. The company only promotes from within and is well respected and looks good for future employers. Benefits are good but not great but discounts on merchandise are a perk for someone that likes fashion.
Cons
Retail hours so that means nights, weekends and holidays. I personally dont mind it but for some this could be an issue. Sales are very seasonal so your pay is never consistent. Expect to work and make more during the summer and christmas time but make less during the remaining months. Opportunities are limited for promotions unless you are willing to commute or relocate.
