unrealistic expectations impossible delivery schedule useless management terrible culture profit first pay is rubbish 10 hour shifts 4 days per week Sheffield based Back injury as a result of weight expected to deliver per day BACKBREAKING (I am a healthy fit male of average height fully able to work hard) Delivery schedules are constantly tightening as a result of a poor system Management don’t do anything when you bring legitimate concerns and admitted senior management know there are issues but won’t do anything because of profit and wanting to please their partners (literally told this) You will be threatened if you get late deliveries you’ll be sacked You’ll be threatened if you take sick leave within probation if 12 weeks you will be sacked My back went as a result of the job and they tried to push me through to termination asap Don’t do it just get something else for work if possible If you have to do it know your rights, join the union immediately, record everything that happens and good luck
