    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Ocado Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Pre loaded vans -You can leave a be paid your entire shift once your route is completed -Some very good people work in the management team at my Spoke -Basically your own boss when out on route -Private Healthcare

    Cons

-At Park Royal you're basically a designated water carrier for people that don't want to carry there multi packs of water up their stairs. If you get the wrong route you can feel like a slave for the day. It's a very physical job. -Terrible absence policy -If you manage to injure yourself on the job (which is highly likely) they'll do everything possible to pin the injury on you doing something incorrectly). -Slightly incompetent Contact Centre -Mainly routes going into W1, WC and EC. Challenging areas to deliver in. -Once yeah start to show you can deliver in these difficult areas competently you'll find yourself being lumped in these areas constantly. -And the main one. Money. Your basic will be £350 a week after tax. When you take into account all of the above is nowhere near enough. So if you want to join a Ocado by all means it's not a terrible job. But I'd advise against Park Royal. The routes involve far too many stairs. Which will break you in the end

I have been working at Ocado Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Autonomy - If you finish early you can go home

    Cons

    - Low pay - Promised overtime but they do not pay it unless you cross the threshold of 40 hours per week despite being on a 36 hour contract - Can be expected to delivery 900kg of shopping per day, heavy drops in the City (beers, milk and bottles water) - High risk of parking tickets in Central London which you have to pay out of wages - Treated like a number rather that an employee -
