Pros
Lots of products, the ability to get in and be known at most organizations. Leader in some of the software space. Lots of upward mobility.
Cons
Bi-Polar comp plans. You don't get to accelerators unless you sell a big expensive piece of hardware, however All Oracle is pushing now is Cloud based products. Two opposing goals in one comp. plan. Sales Leadership is weak. Mark Hurd does NOT care even a little bit about customers or employees. Only investors. If you come thru the Oracle "farm system" you get small raises which put me in a field sales role making 50% less than my peers in the industry. It is called the "loyalty tax". Endless red tape that actually impedes upon sales. Support is some of the worst support in the industry and it is expensive.
