Pros

Flexible work schedule (no login/logout) Full remote option

Cons

PROD-BASED OUTPUT: This means that you have to complete 8 hours of tasks of everyday but the 8 hours of work is impossible to complete within your shift. Meaning you have to spend more than 8 hours to complete the tasks and this is not considered as overtime. If you can’t finish the task on time, you are labelled as inefficient and you’re the problem. Career growth: Internal movement is impossible unless you personally know the hiring manager Salary increase: Minimal (3%) Rewards: No rewards given for performance Management: Concerns falls into deaf ears. Defends higher management for toxic and unfair workload

Pros

Provided health insurance. Good coworkers Good exposure to team at client site If you have a good technical lead, the job can be great!

Cons

You have 2 bosses (Technical lead from Client Site) and your PPD boss. PPD Boss does not know what is going on If you have a bad technical lead, your life can be miserable. Pay is low No protection from abusive technical lead (coworkers on same team can have a drastically different experience)
