Pay Point requires employees to perform all sorts of technical tasks, regardless of their original job role. The company relies on outdated applications and work methods. The management is highly uncompetitive and extremely insecure and often set impossible goals to appease stakeholders, leading to continuous, unrealistic demands. For example, employees are asked to book holidays months in advance, but the requests are only approved a week before the holidays, giving management the flexibility to cancel them at the last minute. There have also been instances where my holiday requests were approved only after I had already taken the time off and returned to the office.
