Cons
Is anyone going to point out the fly on the wall. All the positive reviews are short and sweet or with someone under a year? Unfortunately the negative reviews aren’t wrong, and the positive reviews are. I left Reynolds out of choice and it was the best thing for me. The job isn’t difficult, isn’t true selling more like account management. You get paid well for doing very little and constantly driving. You are by yourself a lot and get comfortable. You constantly talk to your peers because you don’t see anyone worth talking to on a daily basis. I can tell you, if anyone says they’re happy or they want to be there, they’re lying. They are enduring because the job is flexible, good benefits and company car. The past 5 years has been a steady decline. I was so damn proud to work for Reynolds now I am embarrassed. This past year, I would consistently wake up and say explicit words and not want to go to work. That ain’t living. The highlight of my tenure was the people. I met the most amazing people and created lasting friendships. But that didn’t shadow the fact there is no transparency, and no rhyme or reason to what you are doing. Bosses relaying information from the top down and shaking their head because they have conflicting thoughts, forcing out so much product it damages relationships, creating so many new products it doesn’t allow other new things to thrive. Reynolds is throwing the dart at the wall, and consistently missing. At the end of the day, this review is tame. A few months ago it might’ve read a little different.
