Pros
Benefits, salary, peers, resources- I have learned a lot and feel I have been professionally developed quite regularly up until the last few years as the company no longer values this. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the employees and direct leadership. I feel like my boss and VP have my best interest at heart and make a solid effort to provide support and an enjoyable work environment, regardless of how those above them lead.
Cons
I could honestly write an entire essay here but what's the point, it will fall on deaf ears. Reynolds was once a place that was highly respected by competitors and employees alike. It was viewed as a solid career choice with longevity and professional growth. This is sadly no longer the case. It would be unfair to blanket statement and say "leadership" sucks but as the old saying goes, a few bad apples really do spoil the whole bunch. A few of these individuals have placed a black cloud over this once amazing company and are so tone deaf and oblivious to it, change is next to impossible. At the end of the day my work life balance is manageable and I love my boss and peers, but the disappointment and overall depressed tone of the organization has me wanting to jump ship asap (along with many of my high performing peers).
