Pros

- Playing with makeup and skincare - Learn everything you want to know about each world - sent to events and trainings if you're worthy - hundreds of dollars in free product every month - the opportunity to make bonuses, but that's only if you make your budget consistently each week, which is hard

Cons

- minimum wage but expected to work like you make a killing - managers are full of themselves - one manager choses who should be given opportunities often based off of favouritism - the company increased budgets so it's harder to reach bonuses - clients often treat you like a peasant because they probably think you make a killing - at the end of the day you're expected to sell because it is retail - it would be so much better if they paid people what they deserve

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
