Pros

- Discounts 20% - 40%... sometimes can double. - Free full-sized products from brands - Lots of free snacks and meals - Potential for the entire store to receive a bonus with their pay cheque - Working with people who share similar passions so it's easy to make relationships - If you get lucky with a great leadership team, they encourage you to set goals and help you to work towards them. - You have room to improve and work your way up to working as a representative for a brand, which happens often for people who are dedicated to their job. - It's a really good feeling to have a great experience with a client and help them feel more confident and beautiful with your services.

Cons

- The management team varies from store to store. My management is the dream team, encouraging, kind, and helpful, but I've had some friends who have worked at larger Sephoras and their experience wasn't as great as mine... - It happens in retail but you get horrible, belittling middle-aged woman who believe they should be put on a pedestal because they have "rouge status." They'll scream at the 18 year old cashiers until the manager finally gives them what they want then they leave with a smile :)

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
