Cons

Don’t work here if you have an opinion about something being done differently. Sephora pretends like they value cast feedback but they don’t. No improvements will be made but any problems will be blamed on cast. If you’re a submissive follower or just like to be told what to do, then you’ll do great at Sephora. The pay is abysmal for the amount of work you’re expected to do. Any shortcomings and you’re immediately given a talking to by management. Favouritism is at an all time high, so if you find yourself being given great schedules and generally ideal days, congrats! Don’t step out of line or that will change.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!
