A good place to work if you're young, willing to work really hard to be an artist, or really love doing store operations - Product Consultant Sephora Employee Review

Pros

Gratis (seriously amazing--thousands of dollars worth of stuff every few months), good company values, high end brand, nice stores in nice areas

Cons

Pretty much all women, so if you aren't fond of drama you'll find it tiring, too much corporate-level oversight on very stupid things within the store (i.e. the stock shelves and the board saying sales goals for the day), probably varies from store to store but questionable management

Pros

I've worked at two different locations in different cities. Both locations have WONDERFUL management, they are always super understanding. They lead with integrity and passion for beauty. Gratis is always a plus! But being apart of a team that has your back and truly wants to see you thrive makes all the difference!

Cons

I really don't have any cons for Sephora. They have poured into me the same way I've poured into the clients that come into the store. My only wish would be that Flex employees also receive gratis because they too need training products in order to recommend brands to clients.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable, supportive coworkers. Management is generally pretty good. You get to work with all the fun products and learn directly from brand reps. And the customers are there to learn about the products - and you get to talk to them about the best products. If you're excited about Sephora, go apply!

Cons

Hours vary based on the time of the year.
