    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Siemens full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The focus on business to society and willingness to take responsibility for the role Siemens can play for critical needs such as decarbonisation. The company is brilliant in investing in their workforce to make sure employees are skills and qualified to a high standard.

    Cons

As with any large organisation there is a level of bureaucracy and inefficiency

    Advice to Management

Continue to proactively promote empowerment and entrepreneurial spirit to make sure the company is forward thinking, customer focused and agile. It can't be assumed that is ever fully fixed long term due to the sheer size of the company but it needs to be continually pushed. Demonstrate the behaviours with managements own practises and people will follow their lead.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Siemens part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Interns are given responsibilities with business tasks - It can vary based on the BU, but in my experience, managers care about giving interns more exposure to the company and current industry practices

    Cons

    - “Legacy” company trying to keep up with the changes and products tech companies are offering - Redundant approval/documentation processes that can be inefficient and time consuming
