Pros

Good work hours and set schedule Free snacks, cereal and drinks at office Culture is very good, teammates are great to work with usually With high call volume easy to make your quotas and bonus Good company message, mission is for the greater good Working with Tesla

Cons

Management has no idea what they're doing and in turn many customers are angry at all the mess ups and are wanting answers. Management does not have answers except for "tell them to call back next week and watch their accounts". Completely unacceptable. High wait times due to amount of customers calling, overloading all the concierge and customer care lines. Pay is not nearly worth the stress and workload given to you on a daily basis. High turnover rate due to this. There are more cons but these are the main problems with working in this company. Completely unstructured with the right hand not knowing what the left is doing with many people touching a job, it's easy for one person to mess up and for the entire project to crumble.

Pros

Just to quantify my review a bit, I am within the top 10% of inside sales reps within our 12,000 person company. It is a great place to work and people doing well ARE able to make good money here. The executive team ALWAYS has a platform for reps to help make SolarCity a better place every quarter. They involve the top 20 reps each quarter in various ways to help their peers through an interactive group called Team Elite. Executives, VP's, Directors, and Managers are always willing to help and go to bat when there are issues with things that need to be fixed. The direction of the company is consistent and although the company is large, decision makers work as hard as possible to steer the big ship quickly when necessary.

Cons

Knee jerk reactions with decision making at a director level create issues from time to time. Culture has had its ups and downs due to HUGE growth last year and subsequent high attrition rates.
