Pros

Relatively good pay for the job. Good benefits and 401K match. Pretty easy job and lots of independence. Lots of flexibility with time off and vacations.

Cons

I'm speaking to the current state of affairs... No promoting from within the company. Even high producing salespeople are rarely considered for management or promotion. Incompetent Middle Management....when times were good, many looked like superstars. With the recent decline in the economy, "the emperor has no clothes". Coaching and development is non-existent. I approached the regional managers for some feedback about what I need to do about advancement and I get a thoughtless response. They sure do like it that I exceed my quota and help coach and develop my peers. Silly promotions and a lack of honesty about who our company is and what it means to our customers. Focus is so dispersed amongst a large group of "initiatives" that its difficult to be effective. Focus changes every month making it easy for underperformers to be held accountable.

Pros

Wireless service discount Decent vision insurance Co-workers

Cons

Leadership Scheduling Work/life balance Stress Broken everything - half of the tools and resources don’t work No room to grow your career anymore unless you suck up. If you’re blunt and honest you’ll be an outcast - they’ve fostered an environment where they only want cheerleaders. Constantly changing goal posts Frequent restructuring
