Pros
Management has somewhat leveled the playing field between Experts and the rest of the company recently by bringing them into the corporate fold.
Cons
Responsibilities and opportunities for advancement are constantly being stripped from the Expert position, which makes it feel like this role has no future. Get rid of the level skip prevention role and restore some of our responsibilities, tools that we desperately need to help customers are being sent to other departments which just adds to the time we need to reach resolution. Base pay is also considerably lower than it should be, all things considered.
