The global experience here is amazing. I have been able to do things as a Wipro employee that I would not have been able to do working for other companies. My resume now looks AMAZING!
Cons
This company is very India-centric. The reasons I joined this company have gone away. Our benefits plan continues to increase in cost (60% increase for 2014), the work-life balance is no longer an option (I receive calls and "urgent" projects at all hours of the day and night), I frequently see local resources being passed over for promotions and opportunities to put an Indian expat in the role, the company cannot get their payroll systems right (my payroll has been messed up no fewer than 6 times in 5 years, as well as members of my team have had their pay messed up at least once or twice a year), our salaries are 20 to 25% below market (I have been interviewing for roles equivilent to mine and other companies are offering an average of 27% higher than my current salary), as a technology company, we do amazing amounts of work manually (i.e. pen and paper, Excel, and calculators), I could go on and on and on...
