Pros

It's a paycheck in these tough economic times, that's about all. But my co-workers and I only divulge that to each other at the bar afterhours

Cons

eBay used to be a great place to work but they laid off all of their best employees. That includes many very early employees who several of us loved working with. We relied on them to tell us what happened "back in the day" so we wouldn't repeat mistakes and could capitalize on what worked. Also, management makes so many moves and changes it's absolutlely crazy. They see change as necessary, while most employees see making unnecessary changes (both to the site and physically moving to a new location or having a new boss) as very disruptive and unnerving.

Pros

It is equivalent to winning the lottery for a dream job.

Cons

Sunday work can be challenging- due to daycare challenges, but ebay supports work/life balance so its not really a con

Pros

Good work, lots of AI experiments, AI innovation, latest tech stack, Co-workers are very co-operative and helpful. Most AI tools are still unlimited.

Cons

Some teams are over-working due to smaller teams as a result of recent layoffs. Office perks (like catered food, snacks) are dwindling every quarter even though company wants every employee to be 3 days a week in office. Company wants 80 percent code to be generated by AI but no clear guideline how to achieve that.
