Pros

- The people kept me going - Interesting perks (sponsored therapy, wellness benefits, free products) - Office snacks & beverages

Cons

- Terrible leadership with backward vision and unclear mission - Hiring and firing culture (I’ve witnessed soooo many people getting let go for no reason) - NO job security or loyalty. Doesn’t matter if you’re good at your job or well liked in the company, if you speak up against management you will be punished behind the scene. - Management doesn’t advocate for you, seems like everyone is on their own because even managment is tiptoeing around the person on top. - Kumbaya culture i.e. is actually toxic because everyone is scared to ruffle feathers - No bonuses. Instead they have an internal voting system (employee of the month type bs) and winners get a gift card. And the winners are usually the same group of people. - No growth, don’t believe their promises - Did I mention they will replace you with no hesitation?

A Company That Could Have Been Great—But Isn’t

Pros

- Incredibly supportive and talented teams and co-workers - Nice office space - Fun events and team socials

Cons

This company really had the potential to be something truly great but unfortunately inexperienced and under-qualified leaders continue to push employees to their breaking points. Leadership is constantly losing top talent due to lack of company vision, shady office politics and constant pivoting on priorities. Favouritism is also rampant and there is a serious clique problem which contribute to their high turnover rate. There is also no transparency from leadership which leads to intense office gossip about the future of the company. Employees are frequently expected to take on responsibilities beyond their roles and work overtime (often unpaid) to meet unrealistic deadlines. Instead of fostering a supportive work environment, leadership always prioritizes short-term gains at the expense of employee well-being.

Pros

Office is a nice space

Cons

There is favouritism amongst the employees by the leaders in the HR team. They do not treat employees based off actual merit and competency, but rather how they feel about them on a personal level as a person. Which sometimes has nothing to do with the employee, but more to do with the leader going off "gut feelings" about a person. In the corporate world, this should not exist. It's highly unprofessional, but as are the leaders of this company. They come across very nice and welcoming in the beginning, but masks fall with time. Also do not keep their "promises" I noticed a high turn over during my time, frequent announcements that an employee is no longer with the company. This was worrisome.
