Pros

Building amenities are quite nice

Cons

Micromanagement to the extent that even personal life is something that management want to control. They may as well chip and track you. The environment is tense, you can’t bond with colleagues and have an enjoyable conversation even at lunch without it somehow being used against you. Disrespectful use of information by management, everything you do will be used to blame and shame you. Pointing fingers and lack of accountability. Internal communications are non existent. Working from home, even though it is provided, is frowned upon. You’ve failed the company and your manager by choosing to stay home. Your wasting time and energy if you work here, it isn’t worth it at all.

Hi there, Thanks for sharing your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to leave it. It’s important to us that everyone at Enthuse feels empowered to do their best work in a supportive and comfortable environment - so we’re disappointed to hear that wasn’t your experience. We encourage managers to provide support and guidance when needed but also to give everyone the autonomy to do their best work. Exit interview feedback is also used to inform decisions and provide feedback to managers individually. This has always been our approach and we continue to invest in our people. We recently carried out an internal comms review with the majority of people saying the level of communication across the business was just right. The introduction of cross-team projects at the start of the year will further strengthen communication between teams. We’re advocates for flexible working, and hybrid working is the norm for most employees, with 3 WFH days a week. We also offer full remote working on a case by case basis as well. Everyone is entitled to work from home during the course of the week and we’d never want anyone to feel judged for doing so. Thanks again for getting in touch, if there’s anything else you’d like to discuss we’d be more than happy to discuss this further offline.

- Blaming and backstabbing culture spreading from the top - Humiliating, belittling and disrespectful behaviour from certain team members has been known and tolerated by the leadership - Miserable and targeted redundancy process was carried out just before Christmas - From an amazing workplace to a sinking ship that people are trying to escape in just a few months - Many more

Hi there, Thanks for posting your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We work really hard to try and make Enthuse a great place to work and to ensure that everyone feels valued, appreciated and supported. So naturally we’re disappointed to hear that wasn’t your experience recently. Redundancies are by nature a difficult and unwanted step. Like lots of businesses in the last year, the company regrettably had to make a handful of redundancies and we tried to carry out the process as compassionately and fairly as possible. We regularly capture employee feedback with our quarterly eNPS, which we share back with staff and then use to implement change. We also use exit interviews to help inform our decisions. We’re always looking to listen and learn from our staff wherever possible to ensure their time as Enthuse is as enjoyable as possible. And we believe this approach is helping us keep our team retention rates high, about 95% for the last quarter. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

- There were some nice, friendly people who worked there - Opportunity to work with charities who are making a positive difference in the world

Cons

- Product in desperate need of UX design but no internal appetite to do this - Short term growth priortised over long term relationship building with customers - Macho monoculture - only welcoming to specific personality types - Little room for growth anywhere other than sales team - Lack of diversity - Very top heavy approach to management - voice of people at lower levels of the organisation are not listened to - Poor pay and benefits in comparison to equivalent jobs at other tech companies
